Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

100g caster sugar

100g butter

1 egg

½ teaspoon of vanilla essence

175g plain flour

100g milk or plain chocolate drops (or another sweet of your choice)

Put the sugar and butter into a large bowl and mix until you have a creamy mixture.

Break the egg into a small bowl with the vanilla essence, and then mix it with the butter mix. Sift the flour into another bowl, and then stir gently into the butter mix to make a nice dough.

Add chocolate chips to the mixture.

Split into 12 cookies on a greased baking tray.

Flatten each cookie with a fork.

Cook at 180°C for 10-15 minutes.
