400g Minced Meat (we used pork, but I’ve also used turkey)
100g Grated Cheddar Cheese.
1 Pack of Filo Pastry (we used six sheets for this recipe)
100g Melted Margarine or Butter
BBQ seasoning (I used a Tablespoon of Marmite for Turkey ones)
Mix the mince, seasoning and most of the cheese together. Roll the mixture in to two sausage shapes.
Layer the Filo Pastry by brushing a layer of melted butter or margarine between each layer of pastry. Once you have three layers, roll up one of the sausages in the pastry. Cut into smaller sausage rolls. Repeat for the other sausage. Brush remaining butter onto the rolls and sprinkle on the remaining cheese.
Cook at 180°C for 25-30 minutes.
